Admission Eligibility Criteria For Engineering Courses

Eligibility criteria can differ as per the courses and branch have chosen by the candidate. Thus, given below is the eligibility criteria for Diploma, B-Tech, M-Tech and PhD

Diploma: Candidate must have passed Class 10/equivalent examination, with at least 40 per cent in Science and Maths subjects.

PG Diploma: Only few colleges provide PG Diploma course like IIT Gandhinagar, you can pursue your PGDIIT in the following specializations Computer Science, Civil Engineering,  Mechanical Engineering and so on and this course eligibility similar to M Tech

BE/BTech: Aspirants must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects and candidate also need to secure minimum 60 % aggregate score.

BTech Lateral Entry: Aspirants must have passed 3-year diploma with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate or equivalent  from Board of Technical Examination of a State Government

ME/MTech:  Candidate who passed B-Tech with good percentage and also has to clear GATE exam are eligible for M-Tech degree course.

PhD: Candidate who they are looking for PhD, they must have secured a minimum of 55 per cent in BTech/MTech degree in relevant streams.
